The Lifestyle Audit

A private, in-home assessment that identifies exactly where your environment, habits, and daily systems are working against the life you are trying to build — and what to do about it.

After 15+ years working in residential property management and conducting hundreds of environment assessments, I now serve a limited number of private clients in the Charlotte Metro area.

My background as a WELL Accredited Professional and WELL Faculty member, combined with my training in supportive housing and human-centered design, allows me to see what most people miss.

What's Included in Your Session

The Walk Through

I come to your home and conduct a detailed walkthrough of your space. This isn't about judging your decor or telling you to buy new furniture. It's about observing how your environment is actually functioning — and where it's quietly working against you.

I look at:
- How light, color, and spatial arrangement affect your nervous system
- Where visual clutter or sensory overload is stealing your focus
- Whether your bedroom is set up to support quality sleep
- How your workspace impacts your energy and creativity
- The subtle misalignments between your daily routines and your physical environment

The Real Conversation

We sit down for a conversation about your current routines, goals, and challenges. I want to understand:
- What your typical day looks like
- Where you feel most energized vs. drained
- What you've already tried (and why it didn't stick)
- What your ideal state would feel like

The Written Plan

You receive a detailed written report that includes:
- Observations from your audit (what I noticed and why it matters)
- Prioritized recommendations (organized by impact and ease of implementation)
- Specific, actionable steps you can take immediately
- Optional: Product recommendations, layout suggestions, or habit design frameworks

Optional Follow-Up (30 days later)

A complimentary 30-minute check-in (phone or video) to see how the changes are landing, troubleshoot any challenges, and adjust recommendations as needed.

Is this right for you?

This is for you if you have tried organizing, decluttering, new routines, supplements, and productivity hacks — and something still is not working. You do not need another tip. You need someone to walk through your space and tell you what they actually see. If you rent, even better. Most of my recommendations work within rental constraints. I focus on what you can control — arrangement, lighting, routines, sensory elements, and the systems that make healthy behavior your default.

Common Questions

Please don't! I want to see your space as you actually live in it. The mess, the clutter, the "I know I should fix this but haven't" areas — that's all part of what I'm here to observe. No judgment, just observation.

Do I need to clean or prepare my space before you arrive?

What if I rent and can't make major changes?

2

Most of my recommendations work within rental constraints. I focus on what you CAN control: arrangement, lighting, routines, sensory elements, and small adjustments that don't require renovations.

Interior designers focus on aesthetics and style. I focus on function, behavior, and wellness outcomes. I'm not here to make your space Instagram-worthy — I'm here to make it work for your nervous system, sleep, and energy.

How is this different from hiring an interior designer?

3

Do you work with couples or families?

4

Yes! One audit covers a typical household (couples, small families, 2-4 people living together). I'll observe how the space affects everyone and tailor recommendations to each person's needs.

For larger households (5+ people), multiple unrelated adults, or roommate situations where each person needs individual attention, we'll discuss whether one comprehensive audit or separate sessions makes more sense. Reach out and we'll figure out the best approach for your situation.

What if I've already tried everything?

5

That's exactly who this is for. Most people have tried organizing, decorating, new routines, apps, and productivity hacks. But they're missing the subtle environmental and behavioral patterns I'm trained to see. Let me show you what you're missing.

How long does it take to see results?

6

Some changes create immediate shifts (better sleep within days, improved focus within a week). Others are longer-term and build over 30-60 days as new habits take root. The report prioritizes quick wins alongside deeper transformations.

What is a WELL AP?

7

WELL Accredited Professional is a certification from the International WELL Building Institute. It means I'm trained in the evidence-based science of how buildings and environments affect human health — covering everything from air quality and light to mental wellbeing and sleep. My recommendations aren't based on trends or aesthetics alone; they're grounded in research about how environments actually impact your body and mind.
